LUXURY. WORK. MUSKOKA - Part 4: Embrace Nature

By Michelle Seedhouse, April, 2018

When you come to Muskoka, you need to go out on the lake - whether swimming at one of the area’s many beaches, paddling a canoe, kayak or paddleboard.  To ensure this happens, associates have access to resort canoes and kayaks to explore Lake Rosseau.  In the evening after work, the water is peaceful and the sunset is stunning. The resort also offers guided paddle tours where you can learn about the lake and the history of the region.

Embrace Nature

“The best part about working in Muskoka is being surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. Having a job where I get to look out and see Lake Rosseau, one of the biggest lakes in Muskoka, always takes my breath away. I have also seen a variety of wildlife including foxes, moose, and bears! In my position, I get to be outdoors a lot of the time, so I have the opportunity to lead activities including guided nature walks for guests. Seeing the guest’s reaction when we come across an animal, such as a deer, is such an awesome experience, as many people who live in the city don’t have the pleasure of seeing wildlife this close!”
- Kim, Recreation Coordinator
